“Orion” is a beautifully expansive track from Eliza Tebo, developing from its introspective “searching for meaning” ballad-ready beginnings to an intensified second-half vigor, where dramatic vocal layers and flurries of strings invigorate with melodic power. Initial lyrical depictions of a “tired old routine” traverses into harmonious vocal tones and jangling guitar comforts, as cathartic accounts of “cleaning house, trying to organize this mess” lead to that enthralling second half, where the vocals wonder when the “time to shine” will arrive — and then into a gripping array of strings, guitars, and vocal ardor. “Orion” is an impactful success of a track from Eliza Tebo, who describes it as a “song about yearning to achieve your dream.”
